Michy Batshuayi just can’t stop scoring. The Chelsea loanee added to his account for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday afternoon with a goal against Stuttgart.

Batshuayi is one of the most in-form strikers in Europe right now. Having struggled to force his way into Antonio Conte’s starting eleven, he’s showing the Italian what he’s missing with his phenomenal performances at the Westfalenstadion.

Michy Batshuayi has scored nine goals in 13 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.

Going into today’s game, the 24-year-old had found the back of the net eight times in 12 appearances for Dortmund. He made it nine in 13 in the 48th minute of Dortmund’s win over Bundesliga counterparts Stuttgart.

Batshuayi played a beautifully weighted flick into the path of teammate Mahmoud Dahoud and carried on his run into the penalty area. Dahoud squared the ball back to Batshuayi, who was not going to miss from the edge of the six-yard-box.

BT Sport tweeted out footage of the goal.

Remarkably, Batshuayi has a genuine chance of breaking into the top ten Bundesliga goal-scorers for the 2017/18 campaign.

Especially with Chelsea’s struggles in recent weeks, we wonder if Conte is regretting his decision to allow Batshuayi to leave the club in the January transfer window.

He has proven that he is ready to lead the front-line at a top club. We ought to give him an opportunity to compete with Alvaro Morata for minutes next season.
