TeamTalk are among the sources claiming that the Blues are ready to make another attempt for the Serbian striker, adding that the Blues “have already been in contact with the striker’s representatives.”

You’ll forgive us for not getting too excited by this one, but this has to be the 5th or 6th time we’ve seen Vlahovic linked with a Chelsea move over the years.
But, to be fair, this time it does seem more realistic given the 26 year old is coming to the end of his contract. His wages will still be a problem, but at least there won’t also be a transfer fee to pay now. There has been talk this year that Chelsea were prepared to change their policy of targeting only young players. But Vlahovic on huge money still feels like a big stretch.
We only really start to believe this when we get some more concrete information.
