There are more updates on the future of Estevao today, which give us some comfort about his future.
The winger has made three appearances off the bench in the Premier League for Chelsea this season, and there have been reports from Brazil that he’s growing unhappy about a lack of playing time. However everyone involved denies this – and there are reports that the Blues will even offer him a new contract as a show of faith.
Chelsea refuse to countenance interest in winger from Premier League teams

Liverpool have been linked, but a report from TeamTalk today pours cold water over those rumours. They quote transfer expert Dean Jones, who says that Chelsea see Estevao as a “key part of their long term plans” and “do not consider him a player who will become available for transfer in 2027.”
“Those close to the club believe his development will be carefully managed, with patience seen as crucial given his age and the demands of adapting to English football,” Jones concludes.
More importantly – he’s just back from a bad injury, is still a teenager, and has no European football. All of that means he’s going to have to be patient this season, and take his chances when they come.
