We wrote recently about the rise of Olutayo Subuloye as Chelsea Under-21 captain, and predicted there would be loan interest in January as the Blues look to give him some senior experience.
Well, today there are exclusive reports coming from the Evening Standard that that’s on the cards.
They say that “a number of European clubs” have “already enquired about the 18 year old centre back.”
What’s more, “several English clubs are expected to register their interest.”
Subuloye’s future yet to be decided but signs point towards loan

It’s not yet certain if Chelsea will decide that a loan is the right way to go. Tayo is playing a lot in PL2 as well as regularly training with Xabi Alonso’s first team, and we will have to be sure he doesn’t end up on loan only to sit on the bench somewhere.
A short spell in the lower leagues from January until the summer should serve as a great platform to open up a lot of options for him in the summer, where we can hopefully find him a club at a decent level willing to guarantee him a starting spot.
