Chelsea’s Spanish trio celebrate victory over Brighton on social media

Several Chelsea stars have taken to social media to celebrate our victory over Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

The Premier League champions looked as though they’d had one too many Brussels sprouts during the first-half. It was sluggish, disjointed, and wasteful, but thankfully our second half display was a major improvement.

Goals from Spaniards Alvaro Morata and Marcos Alonso, with assists from compatriots Cesar Azpilicueta and Cesc Fabregas, meant that it was a festive fiesta for the Blues, who took all three points following a dominant second-half showing.

With Manchester United dropping two points at home to Burnley, it was important that we capitalised and seized the opportunity – and we did.

Antonio Conte was also given a chance to remove Eden Hazard, Alvaro Morata and N’Golo Kante late-on to give them a, albeit brief, but well deserved rest.
