Andreas Christensen put in a solid performance to keep the likes of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Mason Greenwood at bay, in what was a let-down of an attacking performance from both the giants.
Ever since Thiago Silva picked up a strain against Tottenham a few matchdays back, Christensen has been a regular starter under Thomas Tuchel – missing most of the earlier season after falling out with ex-gaffer Frank Lampard.
This time around against Manchester United, Christensen played like a leader at the back, distributing balls upfront and defending like his life depended on it.
