Chelsea youngster Kenedy could face a heavy price for his unprofessional social media behaviour, according to the London Evening Standard.

As the Daily Mail reported on Sunday, Chelsea were forced to release an official apology to their Chinese supporters after Kenedy posted several offensive posts on Instagram.

The London Evening Standard believe that Kenedy was fined by the club, but the punishment may not end there.

It is reported that his future at Stamford Bridge was already in doubt. The London Evening Standard claim that there were suggestions during his time at Watford that he had attitude problems, and recent events would support that.

As per the London Evening Standard, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will not be best pleased with Kenedy’s behaviour, and the Brazilian will not be included in his plans for the upcoming season.

Chelsea have a brand to protect in countries like China, places where the fans don’t often get to see their heroes in the flesh. Kenedy appears to have caused genuine offence, and he could face the ultimate price.
