Antonio Conte has revealed that he will have trouble sleeping following his side’s shock defeat to Crystal Palace, report the London Evening Standard.
Heading into yesterday’s game, Crystal Palace were rock bottom of the Premier League table having failed to win a single point in any of their seven opening games. In fact, they had not even found the back of the net.
However, the Premier League champions failed to produce anything like their best performance level, and suffered the consequences, falling to a 2-1 defeat – and you can’t say we didn’t deserve it.
Conte needs to find a solution, or we’ll be out of this title race in a matter of weeks. It does not seem as though the Italian is a happy man following the defeat – and who could blame him.
Conte is quoted by the London Evening Standard revealing his state of mind after seeing his side suffer back to back defeats:
“I don’t like to lose. Imagine when you lose two games in a row. For sure, my soul today is bad. It will be very difficult for me to sleep.”
