Maurizio Sarri has delivered some massive news in his pre-Bournemouth press conference. Callum Hudson-Odoi is going NOWHERE!
Callum Hudson-Odoi’s future has been the hot topic of the January transfer window from a Chelsea perspective. He has had his head turned by Bayern Munich’s public flirting, no doubt, yet Marina Granovskaia has stood firm and continues to reject the German side’s hefty bids.
Hudson-Odoi has had a busy week. He reportedly handed in a transfer request in hope of forcing through the move, but was handed a start in our cup game against Sheffield Wednesday and scored a peach of a goal. We’re now confident that won’t be his last goal for the Blues.
Maurizio Sarri says the club have told him in this window Callum Hudson-Odoi will remain with us for sure, and very probably in the next window as well. #BOUCHE

During his presser at Cobham, Sarri told the media that he was confident Hudson-Odoi would not be leaving this month – and he even believes that he won’t be leaving in the summer either. The club have gone toe-to-toe with Bayern and are not prepared to give up.
Fair bloody play to Marina Granovskaia. We are as big a club as Bayern and should not be bullied into selling our players by their disgraceful tapping-up. Hopefully Hudson-Odoi will see that he has a real chance of getting minutes here and can be convinced to extend his contract.
