Cesc Fabregas posted a picture of himself on Instagram in training despite Antonio Conte revealing the Spaniard in unavailable for Wednesday night’s game.
Conte revealed in his press conference earlier today that Fabregas had a hamstring injury. However, there were no signs of grimmace from the midfielder in training.
Fabregas’ post on Instagram did come after Conte’s press conference. It’s unknown as to whether the player picked up a knock in training or if it’s a precaution.
Either way, Fabregas was likely to have been rested for the FA Cup third round replay against Norwich. Hopefully, he can recover in time for the Saturday lunchtime fixture against Brighton.
