Journalist Nizaar Kinsella reported that Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Emmanuel Emegha scored for the Blues.
Emegha, who joined Chelsea from sister club Strasbourg this summer, has scored in both of the club’s pre-season matches after also finding the net in last weekend’s 3-1 win over Crawley Town. Gittens has also scored in successive games.

Chelsea again handed opportunities to several academy players. Landon Emenalo started the match, while Reggie Walsh, Kiano Dyer, Reggie Watson, Shumaira Mheuka and Mahdi Nichol-Jazuli were introduced from the bench. Ryan Kavuma-McQueen and Calvin Diakite are also expected to travel to Australia with the first-team squad for pre-season.
Several members of Chelsea’s first-team squad are still to return following the World Cup and their post-tournament breaks, although Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro have been involved in pre-season training.
Chelsea fly to Australia tomorrow (Friday) for the next stage of their preparations ahead of the 2026-27 Premier League season.
Alonso’s side face Western Sydney Wanderers on 28 July before taking on Tottenham four days later. The Blues will then continue their tour with matches against Juventus, AC Milan and Johor Darul Ta’zim in Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia.
