Sometimes pictures speak a thousand words. This time, a screenshot does.

Game after game after game, Chelsea fans take to Twitter in their masses to moan about two players in particular – Marcos Alonso and Willian.

Both players, though they are decorated and highly-regarded in the game, really do struggle for consistency, and Chelsea fans are reluctant to give them an easy ride.

The weekly ritual of tearing into both Alonso and Willian has grown to such an extent that, in the space of just 45 minutes, Chelsea twitter is dominating the UK trends.

As shown below, both ‘Alonso’ and ‘Willian’ are trending in the UK, with a combined 39,000 tweets being sent out including the pair’s names.

It’s hard to imagine that many of those tweets were positive following their sub-par performances during the first-half at Wembley.

Fingers crossed Callum Hudson-Odoi will force himself to the top of the rankings with a second-half goal. COME ON CHELSEA
