- Chelsea fans moan about Willian (again) on Twitter.
- Willian is very much Chelsea fans’ scapegoat of the hour.
- Make sure you’re following the game @TalkChelsea.
Another Chelsea game, another bunch of Chelsea fans moaning about Willian on Twitter.
You may be growing tired of reading about this, but we, and a whole chunk of the Chelsea faithful, have grown tired of Willian’s sub-standard performances.
He’ll probably score a hat-trick after we’ve hit the publish button, but even that wouldn’t excuse how bad he has been for some time now.
Willian won’t learn his lesson until he’s shoved on the Chelsea bench, but Maurizio Sarri appears to have no interest in cutting him from the side.
Even after Ruben Loftus-Cheek starred out-wide midweek, Willian was still granted the opportunity to start against Leicester City today.
We’re left wondering why, and we’re not the only ones.
Willian’s poor form continued into our first-half against the Foxes, and Chelsea fans on Twitter, as they often like to, have vented their frustrations.
Here’s how just a fraction of them have reacted to his first-half showing…
Willian is worse than Bakayoko if we’re being honest

We may as well start with 10 men rather than start with 11 but one of the 11 is Willian. He is literally the most consistently awful footballer I have ever witnessed. #CFC

I’ve never wished a career ending injury on anyone but if Morgan can get Willian hard enough to rule him out until February I won’t complain.

Willian actually makes me ill

Will crack open a bottle and personally down it myself on the glorious day Willian leaves my club

I wonder what goes through CHO’s head when watching Willian play, never seen such a mess in my life.
