Some Chelsea fans are not best pleased with Maurizio Sarri’s bench selection for our clash with West Ham United today.
Neither of Callum Hudson-Odoi or Ethan Ampadu have been included among the substitutes for todays game, despite the fact that they didn’t play a minute against PAOK on Thursday night.
Gary Cahill and Victor Moses have instead been named on the bench, despite both players seemingly not having any sort of future at Stamford Bridge.
Cahill has admitted that he could be forced to leave in the January transfer window, while Moses has little chance of forcing his way back into Chelsea’s starting eleven in the absence of a back-three.
Sarri’s decision to pick them ahead of Ampadu and Hudson-Odoi is a short-sighted one, and one that has not impressed the Chelsea faithful.
Many Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to express their discontent at Ampadu and Hudson-Odoi’s absence. See for yourself…

really not sure how Moses makes the bench and Hudson Odoi doesn’t

What does Ross Barkley do that Ruben Loftus-Cheek can’t?
Why are both Moses and Zappacosta on the bench, CHO/Ampadu?
Why is Gary Cahill on the bench if he’s not going to get minutes?

I think we are now getting used to not seeing Ampadu and CHO on the team sheet anymore #CFC

Now that Cahill is set to leave, does it mean Ampadu would get a chance??

Victor Moses holding back Hudson Odoi is a terrible scene at CFC… always experience over youth at CFC..
