Chelsea fans would rather keep Antonio Conte than appoint Laurent Blanc, who is considered one of the frontrunners to replace the Italian.

Despite winning the Premier League title during his debut season as Chelsea manager, you’d have thought that Chelsea fan’s patience with Conte had probably ran out by now.

Many have turned on the Italian, citing his own season-long implosion as a major contributor towards Chelsea’s downturn in form. However, they still see keeping him as a better option than Blanc, as they voted on Twitter.

Blanc has been out of work since leaving Paris Saint-Germain two-years ago. He won four Ligue 1 titles across stints with Bordeaux and PSG. He proved he is able to succeed in his home country, but his lack of work since leaving the Parc des Princes suggests that very few have much faith in him replicating that feat elsewhere.

Roman Abramovich appears to, though, and it wouldn’t surprise us if Blanc was in the dugout at Stamford Bridge come the start of next season.
