Ross Barkley has brought Chelsea and Antonio Conte some much-needed good news having taken a major boost to his road to recovery.
As per The Telegraph, Barkley is scheduled to resume full training at Cobham after his hamstring struggles have continued.
Despite the injury being similar to that of the blow the Englishman suffered at the start of the season, Barkley’s most recent setback isn’t as serious.
However, it’s still had implications on the £15m January signing who hasn’t featured for Chelsea since the same month he joined us from Everton.
Although England manager Gareth Southgate revealed that Barkley was not part of his plans to take to Russia for the World Cup in June, the 24-year-old remains focused on returning to club duty, The Telegraph reports.
Barkley will likely have some sort of role to play in the club’s hopes of finishing the season in the top four along with FA Cup triumph on the line.
