Chelsea winger Pedro was withdrawn against PAOK on Thursday night with a shoulder injury, but it doesn’t appear to be anything serious.
The Spaniard has been in superb form so far this season. He already has three goals to his name in the Premier League, which puts him on track to his best ever goal haul since his move to England.
We feared that his superb start to the season had taken a setback when he was forced to leave the field during our 1-0 win over PAOK. Pedro sustained a shoulder injury, the severity of which was unclear at the time of the incident.
However, don’t fear Chelsea fans, Pedro is fine. He eased fears that he would be set for a spell on the sidelines by posting the below tweet on Twitter following the game.
Good start in the @EuropaLeague . Everything’s ok despite the incident at the end of the game. Come on Blues!! 💪🏻🔵 / Buen comienzo en la Europa League. Pequeño susto al final, pero todo ok #CFC #UEL #PAOKvCFC @ChelseaFC pic.twitter.com/h4LqksFWgJ

It remains to be seen whether Pedro will be fit and available to face West Ham United at the weekend. With Willian scoring in two consecutive appearances, the Brazilian may well get the nod from Maurizio Sarri anyway.
