Chelsea visit Stoke City on Saturday in the next leg of their title defence, and Antonio Conte may have three first-team players unavailable for the game.
We can bring you an update on the three Chelsea stars who are currently sidelined thanks to updates provided by Physioroom.
Pedro
Pedro was withdrawn at half-time during the clash with Arsenal at the weekend and was not included in the match-day squad against Nottingham Forest. Physioroom report that is currently recovering from an ankle injury, and although there is no definitive return date set for the Spaniard, he is listed as a slight doubt for the Stoke game.
Conte has, however, not made any suggestion in his pre-match press conference that Pedro will be unavailable, so we’ll have to wait and see.

David Luiz
Physioroom expect David Luiz to be available for selection against Atletico Madrid next week. The Brazilian suffered a broken wrist before seeing red against Arsenal on Sunday. He will be unavailable for selection for the trip to the bet365 stadium regardless of his fitness as he continues to serve his three-match suspension.
Danny Drinkwater
Danny Drinkwater is still yet to make his Chelsea debut after signing for the Premier league champions on transfer deadline day. Physioroom believe that he has suffered a calf strain and is due to return to action on October 14th for Chelsea’s clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
