As former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is demanding higher wage demands than what Chelsea are offering, the Blues have two options they can fall back on.
The Telegraph brought news on Tuesday of Enrique’s extortionate conditions that may prove to be too big a hurdle for Chelsea to acquire the Spaniard.
Despite Enrique’s desire to manage a Premier League club, the Blues have other options we can fall back on.
Maurizio Sarri and Thomas Tuchel have shown their interest in taking the Premier League champions’ reigns and will provide a cheaper alternative than Enrique according to The Telegraph.
When Enrique left Barca at the end of last season, he was earning £16.5 million-a-year whilst current head coach Antonio Conte has wages of £9.5 million-a-year.
It appears that the Chelsea hierarchy are preparing for life without Conte with current Napoli manager Sarri and former-Dortmund boss Tuchel providing an alternative to Enrique.
