Alvaro Morata is an unhappy man as it’s reported by Don Balon that he feels regret in leaving Real Madrid in the summer.
However, whilst the out of form Spaniard believes he may eventually settle at Chelsea, he wants the club to part ways with head coach Antonio Conte.
Morata has failed to score for the Blues since December as he’s struggled to get into the Italian’s plans since recovering from a back injury that left him on the sidelines for a month.
This has prompted the striker to believe his performances may pick up under a new manager, which appears to be likely as Conte’s future has been under the spotlight throughout this season.
This reason report from Don Balon won’t sit well with Chelsea fans but Conte isn’t solely responsible for Morata’s woeful performances since moving to SW6 for £58m in the summer.
