Chelsea winger Willian has revealed that he is targeting scoring a hat-trick in his side’s upcoming run of fixtures, report the Metro.
The Brazilian is not renown for scoring goals, but has found the back of the net three times in the past week.
He began that goal-scoring flurry with a brace against Hull City in the FA Cup. Willian was unlucky not to get his hat-trick against the Championship side – and was once again against Barcelona on Tuesday night.
Willian bagged a fantastic finish from the edge of the penalty area, as well as striking the woodwork twice during the first-half. He’s now aiming to complete the treble.
Our 2015/16 player of the year is quoted by the Metro revealing that he is looking to further his goal-scoring exploits. He even goes as far as saying that he is hoping to bag his first Chelsea hat-trick in one of our upcoming games:
“I’m always ready to score goals, I think the hat-trick is coming soon. I nearly scored one against Hull [in last Friday’s FA Cup tie] and against Barcelona.”
Sunday would be good, please!
