- Chelsea take on Newcastle United on the final day of the season.
- Blues desperately hoping that Brighton defeat Liverpool at Anfield.
- Do you agree with Antonio Conte’s team selection today, Blues?
Chelsea are about to face Newcastle United at St. James’ Park with a spot in the Champions League up for grabs.
We desperately need Liverpool to be defeated by Brighton at Anfield. It’d be the unlikeliest of turnarounds, one of the most dramatic in Premier League history, but stranger things have happened in this competition.
Today marks the six-year anniversary of THAT Sergio Aguero goal that sealed Manchester City the Premier League title in the 94th minute, snatching the crown out of the hands of arch-rivals Liverpool.
Finishing in the top four cannot be compared to winning the competition, but it’d be every bit as satisfying from a Chelsea perspective.
All we can do is focus on securing the three points, and desperately hope that Brighton do us a favour. We’re confident, Antonio Conte has pulled no punches with his starting eleven for this one, but Ross Barkley starts! What do you think, Blues?
