Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has ‘accidentally’ liked a tweet celebrating Antonio Conte’s exit on Twitter.
It became clear on Thursday afternoon that Chelsea had finally reached an agreement with Conte for his dismissal, with former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri set to fill his compatriot’s spot in the Stamford Bridge dugout.
One man who had worked under Conte’s stewardship for the two-years he was in charge is Fabregas. He was used primarily as an impact substitute throughout 2016/17, while playing a more considerable role in the side last time around.
It felt as though Fabregas was forced to play with the handbrake on under Conte, so part of him may well be happy that there will be a change of management in West London.
Fabregas appeared to confirm he felt that way by liking a tweet which was celebrating the news that Conte had been sacked by the club. See below.

Fabregas fast reacted to the social media meltdown over him liking the tweet, claiming that it was an accident. We’re not convinced – what do you think, Blues?
Pressed by mistake. Sorry.
