Antonio Conte makes shocking claim after Chelsea’s 3-0 loss to AFC Bournemouth

Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte has said something absolutely ridiculous following Chelsea’s defeat to AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

It was, without doubt, the most embarrassing night of Conte’s reign before. Toothless, lethargic, and completely devoid of any genuine quality.

Eden Hazard will have been looking around the field to his teammates and thinking he’d be better of trying to do it all alone. The current state of our squad in comparison to our competition rivals really is embarrassing.

All is fine, though, in Conte’s world. Forget our surrender to Arsenal in the Carabao Cup. Forget the Champions League tie with Barcelona which is looking more and more daunting. Let’s not even mention that we are close to slipping out of the top four in the Premier League. It’s all blue skies and rainbows over Stamford Bridge.

After one of our darkest days in recent history on Wednesday, Conte felt it appropriate to insist how he was doing an excellent job and there’s no concerns at all. The Chelsea boss is quoted by Goal saying:

“I repeat: we are doing everything, we are doing 120 per cent. I’m exploiting this squad to the maximum level but if someone doesn’t agree about this, I’m here.”

“I have to accept every situation. I’m very relaxed about this. I know that I’m doing a great job, a great work, me and the staff and the players.”
