David Luiz is the biggest character in the Chelsea squad at the moment. Even when he’s injured and not in manager Antonio Conte’s good books, the player is still going about his everyday life.
The defender may be happy on the outside but on the inside, there may be more serious and nervy side to the player.
The emergence of Andreas Christensen since replacing Luiz hasn’t helped the man that re-signed with Chelsea at the start of last season.
Even if he may be leaving the Blues in the near future, plenty of clubs are aware of the player’s situation. The Daily Mail reported on Sunday that Juventus and Real Madrid were monitoring the centre-back.
If Luiz goes, it has to be at the end of the season
Luiz may not be in the Chelsea fold at the moment, but he’s still part of our squad.
The champions can’t afford to lose depth as Conte is eager to bolster his team in January.
Whether or not a centre-back is signed next month, Luiz could still have a part to play in our season ahead.
