Eden Hazard has revealed that he is waiting to be offered a new contract by Chelsea as the Belgium international returns to full fitness, reports The Sun.

The Chelsea winger is currently on international duty with Belgium and is in contention to start for the Red Devils today after recovering from an ankle injury which has kept him sidelined for three months.

However, speaking to the media ahead of Belgium’s World Cup qualifiers, Hazard revealed that he is still waiting to be offered a new contract from the reigning Premier League champions.

At the moment there’s nothing. I’m waiting,” Hazard admitted to The Sun .

Hazard last signed a contract with the Blues in February 2015, keeping him at the club for another five and a half years.

The 26-year-old was a key figure in Chelsea’s league campaign last season, scoring 16 goals in 36 appearances as the Blues stormed to the title. Yet, with The Sun reporting this month that Barcelona were considering a bid for the attacker, let’s hope that it isn’t too long until Chelsea make Hazard an offer he can’t refuse.
