Sometimes no news is big news. That’s especially true in football. Today is a good example. We’re all in suspense right now hoping waiting to see what happens with Enzo Fernandez – he wants to leave Chelsea, Real Madrid are interested in buying him, and Chelsea want to sell.
So given all that, a lack of contact is significant in itself.
Zero talks between Chelsea and Madrid over Enzo Fernandez

Fabrizio Romano has today reported that there have been “zero talks” between Real Madrid and Chelsea so far. The midfielder is “appreciated” by the Spanish giants, but also is just one of five names on a list.
It feels to us like Madrid are playing it cool for now. They want to bring that price down, and the best way to do that is so make both Enzo and Chelsea panic that the move might not happen. They’re in no rush, and making sure Romano has this information and puts it out there only increases their potential leverage in talks.
In other news…
Chelsea want Maxence Lacroix, but a top source says they still haven’t made an official offer. We explain all here.
Malo Gusto is attracting attention from a number of clubs according to the same report – but at the price being talked about, we don’t see how it happens.
