Chelsea’s manager has taken Chelsea’s training at Chelsea’s training ground. This really shouldn’t be news – BUT IT IS!
Antonio Conte is still in charge. He’s got the look of a cockroach that’s just survived a nuclear apocalypse. We were convinced that Roman Abramovich was going to swing the axe, but he’s yet to, and Conte remains.
Pre-season is underway and Conte stands tall – literally. Below is a snap of him standing proud, and rather tanned, alongside Carlo Cudicini and Gianluca Spinelli.

He has refused to resign and throw-in the towel. He’s refused to capitulate under the pressure of Marina Granovskaia. Conte deserves credit for that regardless of whether you believe he deserves to still have his job.
If Conte remains, we must get behind him. He’s been through the wars this summer, but may well be about to emerge the other side to a sunnier day. For now, at least, forza Conte!
