Danny Drinkwater took part in his first training session at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Monday.
The BBC reported that the deal that saw Drinkwater move from Leicester City to the Premier League champions on Deadline Day was worth £35M. He will undoubtedly be looking to begin repaying that fee at the first opportunity.
It remains to be seen whether Drinkwater will be involved against his former employers at the weekend, but the club have posted a photo on their Instagram page in which he looks to be working hard. That’s what we like to see!
