Antonio Conte continues to be linked with a return to his native Italy.
This time the club showing interest in the Chelsea manager is five-time Champions League winners AC Milan, Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
The Serie A side have had a poor season so far replacing Vincenzo Montella with Gennaro Gattuso.
Milan are 11th in the top flight despite spending £120m on players in the summer.
The Italian newspaper also reports that Roberto Mancini is on Milan’s managerial shortlist.
Conte will need backing from the board post-season
The relationship between Conte and the board has soften as this season has gone on.
Our opening fixture of the season in which Burnley stunned the Blues 3-2 at the Bridge put added pressure on Conte.
This was following a difficult summer as the 49-year-old wasn’t too pleased with the club’s summer transfer activity.
Hopefully this will change as the champions will want to have a more organised transfer window after this season.
