Martin Odegaard’s performances for Arsenal since moving to London from Madrid have been commendable. The on-loan midfielder has impressed Mikel Arteta on several occasions and continues to do so with his playmaking skills and team play involvement.

According to DailyMail, the Gunners may not be able to match Real Madrid’s valuation of the Norwegian prodigy at the end of the season – expecting the Spanish giants to slap a price tag upwards of €50m.

Chelsea & Liverpool have emerged as new prospective destinations for the playmaker. Odegaard has been one of the main talking points of recent transfer windows, given his rise to stardom at such a young age.

His original transfer market value stands at around €40m, but his recent displays at the Emirates Stadium might see Los Blancos increase his asking price.

The main reason for this being the need for funds to enable the transfers of either Kylian Mbappe from PSG or Chelsea target Erling Haaland from Dortmund, both of who will definitely not come cheap.

Dortmund recently slapped a  €180m asking price on Haaland, according to ESPN reports and it remains to be seen if Chelsea will be able to match his valuation.

However, Odegaard is a new target for the Blues who already possess a wealth of attacking talent with the likes of Kai Havertz, Werner, Mount, Pulisic and Tammy Abraham.

He has appeared 12 times and scored two goals already this season for Arsenal. (transfermarkt)
