Ruben Loftus-Cheek is back at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground – a week earlier than expected.
Loftus-Cheek was entitled to three-weeks off following his involvement in the World Cup, but he’s decided to cut his holiday short to show Maurizio Sarri what’s he’s capable of.
It’s this sort of mentality that’ll see him go far at Stamford Bridge, and club captain Gary Cahill could learn a thing or two from his commitment to the cause.

This could prove to be a pivotal season in Loftus-Cheek’s Chelsea career. He’s been here since he was a kid, and this is his chance to show us what he’s capable of.
His stock rose considerably while on loan at Crystal Palace. So much so, in fact, that he established himself as a fully fledged England international.
He’ll no doubt be buzzing to get out on the training pitch and show Sarri he deserves to be a starter.
