"Shambles" - Some fans react to first half against Man City

Some Chelsea fans have taken to social media to share their reaction to the first half of action against Manchester City.

Frank Lampard’s side found themselves 2-0 down within the first twenty-one minutes of action at Stamford Bridge.

Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring with a neat turn and finish and Phil Foden doubled the lead three minutes later when he beat Mendy at his near post.

In fairness, City could have already been ahead prior to Gundogan’s goal when Kevin De Bruyne spurned a good opportunity against his former side.

City made it 3-0 ten minutes before half time, Raheem Sterling saw his effort hit the post and De Bruyne was waiting for the rebound with a simple tap in.

This performance and the Arsenal performance are some of the most horrendous, disgraceful games I’ve seen from Chelsea in years.

Everyone was happy before kick off, that side looked more than good enough to put up a fight.

But to be 3-0 down after a 45 like that is laughable, all 11 players on the pitch should hang their heads in shame as that was a disaster.
