In a span of 23 days, beginning on the 23rd of February when Chelsea play Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League last 16 1st leg, the Blues will face a long list of high-profile encounters that may well define the season at Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel has gotten off to an unbeaten start at Stamford Bridge, drawing two and winning five of his seven matches, with a win rate of 71.5%. (transfermarkt)

His team have scored nine goals and conceded only two. The Blues struggled to create clear cut opportunities against Southampton, which is a testament of why goals have arrived so far and few of late under Tuchel’s reign. However, the defence on the other hand has been quite solid.

But one could argue they haven’t been sternly tested at the back, with Sheffield United perhaps the only team to have posed a threat – as north London rivals Tottenham, who were supposed to be Tuchel’s first real menace, put in an underwhelming performance.

In the next few weeks, Chelsea will face the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool & Everton, after the 1st leg clash in Madrid. The three Premier League teams possess ruthless front lines and will pose a challenge for the Blues, as will Leeds United who take on Chelsea before the UCL Round of 16 2nd leg in London.

But before any of these get underway, Tuchel first has to overcome Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid who have been Spain’s strongest side this season – although their form of late speaks otherwise.

Here is the detailed list of Chelsea’s next six fixtures –

Tuesday, 23rd February – Atletico Madrid vs Chelsea (A) – UEFA Champions League Round of 16 1st leg
