Chelsea take on title favourites Arsenal today in a game where we’re set to find out a lot about both teams.
On Sky Sports they previewed the game with Daniel Sturridge, who backed his old team to compete for the Premier League with the Gunners this season.

“I think they can [challenge for the title]. And the reason why is that I think that their attack can get even better. The fluidity, the movement, the combinations are amazing,” Sturridge said.
“Of course, we can talk about the defensive side, they’ve conceded 5 goals in a couple of games and that’s clearly something that the manager is going to address… but ultimately it’s going to come down to the fitness of the midfield as well.
“They’ve got all the ingredients there [for a title challenge]… but can they keep the midfield healthy?”
He’s bang on. Just in the first couple of games of the season we’ve seen lots of signs this team can compete – but it’s what happens when games start piling up and players are getting injured that we’ll find out more.
