‘Werner starts as striker and Ziyech is back’ – Chelsea fans react to starting line-up against Man City

Chelsea’s manager Frank Lampard has confirmed his starting line-up for today’s game against Manchester City.

Edouard Mendy starts in goal for the Blues and will be hoping for a clean-sheet after conceding in his last two games against Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Club captain Cesar Azpilicueta will make his 400th appearance and will play for the second game in a row in place of the injured Reece James. (Chelsea FC)

N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic make up a strong midfield and Timo Werner finally gets his chance to start in his natural position as striker. Hakim Ziyech who is back from injury and Christian Pulisic start on the wings.
