The Champions League draw for the quarter finals and semi finals has just been announced, and despite no draw at this stage ever being an easy draw, Chelsea could certainly have been handed a worse run to the final.
I certainly wouldn’t be booking tickets to Istanbul just yet though guys, I will reiterate that.

However, Chelsea have been drawn Porto in the quarter finals, and I am sure if you asked any fan of any of the clubs left in the draw who they would have liked to face in the quarters, Porto would have been their preferred choice.
After that, I’ve seen and heard many Chelsea fans saying they would have took Real Madrid or Liverpool – with neither exactly being in the best form right now as things stand.
And it is one of these who Chelsea would face in the semi finals if they can beat Porto.
The draw has set it up for an all English final, and Chelsea could well be one of them.
Listen, I’m not getting carried away of course, Porto are a VERY good team, and we certainly know what these Real Madrid and Liverpool sides are capable. So getting to the final WILL be very tough, but what I am saying is that the way Chelsea are performing right now, on current form, I certainly fancy us beating Porto, Real Madrid, and Liverpool right now.
This draw could have been much tougher!
