Everyone has an opinion on this situation as Chelsea fans and in fact, opinions are very much split down the middle.
The fact that this poll is almost exactly split 50/50 says it all.
It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!
As fans we have a right to be upset about what has happened and a right to voice those views. What happened bought drama and disrespect to the club, the manager, and the fans in my view and we were lucky that we have such a top manager and an intelligent person as our head coach who handled the situation so well and stopped it spiraling entirely out of control.
Today our boss Thomas Tuchel has told us that Lukaku has apologised, he is committed to Chelsea, and they are now moving forward together, and that’s good enough for me personally.
I was really annoyed at the whole situation and I am still hugely disappointed in Lukaku and what has happened. I don’t know what the future holds and neither does anyone really. But for me, the line has now been drawn by Tuchel and I am at least happy to move forward now.
As long as Lukaku is in Chelsea blue and he is out there giving 100% for the team and for the club, then I am happy to move on with this whole situation and back him, the team, and the club to do their talking on the pitch.
Lukaku was very silly, but for me dwelling on it only creates more drama and doesn’t help the most important thing here, getting points and winning games.
Everyone will have their own opinions of course and that is what we are entitled to do as fans, and I’m not telling anyone what to do or think, but for me I’ve gone under the same line that Tuchel has drawn today so I am ready to move on now.
