Die-hard Chelsea fan @marksboy1988 took to Twitter to share a shocking exchange he had with the club after he was removed from the UEFA Away Scheme.
To get you up to speed, the UEFA Away Scheme allows it’s members to be granted priority access to snapping up the much sought after tickets when Chelsea play abroad in the Champions League.
@marksboy1988 was on the scheme – that was until the club removed him after he was unable to attend Chelsea’s clash with AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. He claims that he spent the night in hospital before the game, and would, for obvious reasons, be unable to attend.
However, Chelsea had zero sympathy, and he was removed from the UEFA Away Scheme and instructed to reapply – NEXT SEASON. This means that he would be at risk on missing out on any memorable away days, should the Blues progress in the competition.
Below is the full exchange, which really does not reflect well on the club at all.
