Chelsea beat West Brom 1-0 at the Hawthorns on Friday night and were crowned 2016/17 Premier League champions with still two games left to play.
It did not always look so good for the Blues when they lost back to back games to Liverpool and Arsenal way back in September. Questions were being asked of Conte and his side, he responded by changing the formation of the team to 3-4-3.
Ever since that moment Chelsea have been unstoppable and recently won their 28th game of the season.
Former Manchester United stars Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves clearly doubted Chelsea’s ability earlier in the campaign, telling BT Sport that the title would not be heading to Stamford Bridge.
Early on in the season Chelsea were more or less ruled out of the title race as Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City shot to the top of the league.
Blues legend Didier Drogba couldn’t help himself but remind the ex-Red Devils of their prediction on twitter after his former team proved all the early doubters wrong and won the title.
