There was a large Chelsea connection in the big Championship match between Aston Villa and Hull City at the weekend as two Chelsea loanees and one former player played in the 1-1 draw which took place at Villa Park.

Firstly, Chelsea legend John Terry made his league debut for Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon after the defender signed for the Villains in July after leaving Chelsea on a free this summer.

Posting on Instagram, Terry expressed his disappointment at the result, but, in typical fashion, urged his teammates to concentrate on the next game.

Meanwhile, current Chelsea loanees Ola Aina and Michael Hector both played ninety minutes in Hull’s 1-1 draw against Aston Villa as they look to help the Championship club return to the Premier League.

Like Terry, Ola Aina took to Instagram to give his verdict on the match.
