Exclusive claims 19 year old Chelsea academy star set for first senior loan

It’s been a slow start to the summer for transfers at Chelsea, but there is some movement among some of the youth players.

The Daily Telegraph’s Mike McGrath doesn’t break many transfer stories, but he’s got an interesting exclusive today about a Chelsea youngster.

Harrison Murray-Campbell had a great season for the Under-21s and ended up on the PL2 Player of the Year shortlist as the Blues won the league phase of the competition. The 19 year old is ready to strike out into the senior game, and it looks like his first move is now secured.

McGrath reports that Chelsea have agreed a loan deal for HMC to join KV Kortrijk in the Belgian Pro League for the season ahead.

Murray-Campbell is a really talented and versatile defender with great technical skills.
