Chelsea target Alex Sandro is set to sign a new contract with Juventus to end speculation linking him with the Premier League champions.
Marcos Alonso has enjoyed a great start to the 2017/18 campaign, but the fact remains that he is a weak spot in our defence that can be exploited by any opponents wise enough to recognise it.
As per Football Italia, this has prompted Chelsea to pursue Juventus’ Alex Sandro. The report claims that Massimiliano Allegri’s side rejected several sizeable offers from the Premier League champions over the summer, and are now keen to get him to commit to a new lucrative contract.
Football Italia translate fellow Italian outlet La Gazzetta Dello Sport‘s report, which claims that Sandro is poised to commit his future to the Serie A heavyweights by signing a new €5M-a-year contract. It is claimed that the paperwork is expected to be finalised by early November. What a big blow to Conte’s transfer plans.
