If Antonio Conte is looking to sign AS Roma midfield general Radja Nainggolan this summer, he’s going to need to break the bank.

According to Calciomercato, Nainggolan is on Conte’s transfer wish-list this summer, but he is not alone in wanting to add the Belgian to his ranks. Calciomercato report that Inter Milan and Manchester United are both also in the race to secure his signature.

However, Chelsea, and any other potential suitors, are going to have to match Roma’s eye-watering asking price. Calciomercato believe that Roma are looking to raise a fee in the region of £43.9million through the sale of the 29-year-old, who is very much at the peak of his powers.

Nainggolan scored 15 goals in all competitions through the 2016/17 campaign, almost tripling his goal haul from the two seasons previous.

He has grown into one of the best midfielders in the world, and in the current market, would certainly be able to justify a £43.9million transfer fee.
