Chelsea have agreed a fee with AS Roma to sign Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri, according to the Guardian.
With the games coming thick and fast and the Blues, at the time of writing, still being competitive in all four competitions, Antonio Conte will undoubtedly be looking to use this month as an opportunity to deepen his squad.
Ross Barkley has already been drafted in from Everton, and it appears as though the reigning champions of England are set to splash big cash on a double-deal to sign Dzeko and Palmieri.
As per the Guardian, a fee of £57.2M (inc. add-ons) has been agreed by Chelsea and AS Roma for the transfer of the two players. It is claimed in the report that the Blues will have little problem agreeing personal terms with Palmieri, but Dzeko still needs to be convinced to make the move to Stamford Bridge.
