Chelsea are interested in signing Watford star Richarlison, according to The Sun.
He may only be 20-years-old and recently moved to one of the most competitive leagues on the planet, but Richarlison has taken to life in the Premier League like a fish to water.
The Brazilian has already found the back of the net four times in the league this term, and The Sun believe that his electric form has captured the imagination of two of the country’s biggest sides.
It is reported that Tottenham are interested in securing his services, and Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are now very much in the running to sign him.
Chelsea exploring the possibility of poaching Richarlison from the Hornets makes perfect sense. His best years are yet to come, and beating arch-rivals Spurs in the race to sign him would make it that little bit sweeter.
As is the nature of the modern transfer market, Richarlison wouldn’t be signed on the cheap. But the sky is the limit for the Watford starlet, and who knows, perhaps he could realise his frightening potential in a Chelsea shirt.
