A very hopeful rumour is doing the rounds today claiming that Chelsea are going to try and get into the mix to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.
The claims are that Chelsea are willing to offer €100m for the Ivory Coast star in a deal which would also see them loan him back to Leipzig for a year.
“RB Leipzig have taken an internal decision not to sell Diomande this summer. The only exception being discussed is the possibility of the winger returning to Leipzig on loan for another year if a deal is struck,” says a quote on the Chelsea Chronicle.
Chelsea not able to offer Diomande or Leipzig enough to make deal happen

We’d love to believe this story, but it’s sadly just a little far fetched. Even PSG are struggling to sort this deal right now, with RB Leipzig determined to tie their winger down to a new contract and keep him for a year at least.
If they’re able to fight off PSG, they’ll certainly be able to fight off Chelsea, who won’t be able to offer Diomande or Leipzig anything as tempting as the Parisians.
