Chelsea closing in on three signings with four more targets lined up

Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte has commended his Chelsea players for their focus amid transfer speculation.

Matt Law, who knows his stuff when it comes to all things Chelsea, has provided an update on our transfer dealings for the Telegraph.

Law writes that the Premier League champions are close to sealing the signings of both Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger from AS Monaco and AS Roma respectively, with both players being booked in to undergo medicals.

It is reported that Chelsea are also in negotiations with Juventus over the possibility of signing Alex Sandro. Law believes that the club are confident that they will be able to agree a deal to sign the Brazilian this summer.

Law reports that Chelsea are also in the hunt for a new striker, having missed out on signing Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United. Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti are both thought to be potential options to replace Diego Costa in a starting role, with Fernando Llorente and Christian Benteke being lined up as back-ups.

It should be a busy few weeks.
