Chelsea are looking to secure the signature of Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater before they take on Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday, according to the Daily Star.

After Cesc Fabregas was sent off against Burnley in Chelsea’s 3-2 defeat, Antonio Conte has been left with just one fit central midfielder going into the game against Spurs on Sunday.

As a result, the Blues look set to return for the Premier League winner, with the Daily Star reporting that the we will make a new bid of £25 million in hope of sealing the deal before the match with Tottenham on Sunday.
