Chelsea may have been offered some serious encouragement in their pursuit of Watford attacker Richarlison, according to the Telegraph.
Richarlison has been one of the surprise packages of the Premier League season. In total this term he has already found the back of the net on five occasions, as well as providing five assists for his teammates.
He really has taken to life in England’s top tier like a fish to water. It’s a transition that many have struggled with in the past, but has been light-work for the Hornets’ combative Brazilian.
The Telegraph report that Richarlison has been linked with a move to Chelsea, who see him as the ideal long-term replacement for Eden Hazard, who is being continually targeted by La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid.
If Chelsea’s interest in Richarlison is genuine, this tweet he sent out following the dismissal of Marco Silva will likely turn a few heads at Cobham. He doesn’t appear to be happy!

Watford sacking Silva was a real eyebrow-raiser, and Richarlison appears to be extremely disgruntled about it. Chelsea ought to look to take full advantage of the situation and make a move to secure his signature!
